The popular small board tournaments are played in two stages, a round robin group stage and a knock-out stage. The games will be played with a ‘Steininger’ handicap, so that everybody can enjoy the games. The details of the handicap will be published at the notice board before the tournament.

Tournament system:

Rules: Both the 9×9 and the 13×13 tournament are played in the same way. They will each comprise of two stages, a round robin group stage and a knock-out stage. The games will be played with a slight handicap to assure everybody can enjoy their games. (‘Steininger’-style handicap is used, which will be published at the notice board. The time limit will be also announced on site.)
